Belgian Paramotor Championship 2025 successful in Linter<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

From 4 to 6 July, the Belgian Paramotor Championship took place in Melkwezer, in the Flemish Brabant municipality of Linter. The ParaMotor Sports Federation vzw (PMSA) organised this championship for 36 pilots, all members of the federation.<\/p>

Both backpack pilots and trike pilots (paramotors on wheels) took part in the competition. There was also a separate classification for female backpack pilots.<\/p>

The weather conditions were ideal for the first tests on Friday evening. Pilots competed in navigation tasks, where they had to find locations on a map in the area. Target landings and precision landings were an additional challenge, in which experience and skill clearly came to the fore.<\/p>

On Saturday the remaining components were completed, including gonflage (setting up the wing), wing control and terrain skills.<\/p>

The competition took place in a sportive and friendly atmosphere, with lots of flying fun and exciting duels in the air. In the end, this resulted in a nice podium in the three main categories:<\/p>

    3. Lauren Portemont<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

      Paramotor Trike (wheel-mounted):<\/strong><\/p>

      1. Roger Bax (Hamont-Achel)<\/p><\/li>

      2. Ronny Cillen (Oudsbergen)<\/p><\/li>

      3. Danny Van Dessel (Heist-op-den-Berg)<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

        Arthur Bossuyt was crowned Belgian champion again and thus extends his national title for the third year in a row (2023, 2024 and now also 2025). Arthur is the son of top pilot Veerle Santy and the late Johan Bossuyt, himself a pioneer and former Belgian champion in the sport. With his hat trick, Arthur writes history in the Belgian paramotor world.<\/p>

        All eyes are now on the European Championships, which will soon take place in England. We hope that Arthur can excel there again and represent Belgium at the highest level.<\/p>

        The PMSA has almost 300 members and organizes about ten events for the community each year. The championship in Linter was the 91st event of the federation and was again a great success, partly thanks to the efforts of countless volunteers.<\/p>
